Pinewood Derby 2005

Registered scouts and family members of Pack 358 are invited to participate in our Pinewood Derby.

When: Saturday, January 22, 2005

Where: Rockford Township Hall

Time: 10:00am to 5:00pm

Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. and the race program begins at 10:45 a.m. Please register at least 30 minutes before your races.
Every scout will be receiving a pinewood derby kit. If you have not received your kit by the end of December, please check with your den leader.
On Derby Day, scouts will race against other scouts at the same scouting level. The cars will race down an inclined track while friends and family are cheering. Those who build the fastest and the best looking cars will take home awards. Everyone will take home memories.
Bring your car or truck ready to race. The only modifications allowed on race day are changes to cars, which do not meet the rule requirements such as weight limitations. Underweight cars will meet the qualifications and will not be allowed to add weight after reaching the inspection table.
